San Diego Permanent Make-up

Eyeliner and Eyelash Enhancement

You have several options with permanent eyeliner.  Lash Enhancement is a subtle, natural look, mimicking thousands of tiny eyelashes with the implantation of pigments in the lash line and is popular with both male and female clients. Soft colors are implanted in and between eyelashes to create a thicker looking lash line. Want more detail? Thicken your design with layers of deep eyeliner color. Still not enough? Try graduated smudged colors to create a line or even a smoky look. You will work directly with our expert to design the look you want.

Eyebrows

The brow line frames your face and the right eyebrows can remove years from your appearance. We can thicken thin eyebrows, change their shape, correct over-tweezed brows, and create beautiful brows where none exist due to aging, chemotherapy or Alopecia (hair loss). We start with a detailed consultation including a drawing.  You participate in this process and no permanent marks are made until the design is agreed upon. Using the drawing a guide, we will begin filling in the area with thin strokes simulating the look of actual hair. This provides the most natural look.

Lip Liner/Color

Full, luscious, lips are yours with permanent cosmetics. Emphasize your lips with a permanent lip liner or get the perfect, sexy cupid’s bow you’ve always dreamed of. Avoid the mess of lipstick with permanent lip color. Minimize wrinkles and prevent unsightly lipstick bleed-through or give narrow lips a plumped up look. Whether you go dramatic or natural, permanent lip liner and permanent lip color will give your lips an elegant, finished look all day, every day. With permanent lip color and/or lip liner, you can always enhance or change your permanent lip color with lipstick if desired, but you can feel confident that your enhanced lips will look great all the time.

    Areola Repigmentation $ 325 per side

Areola Repigmentation is a procedure that helps improve the appearance and self esteem of both women and men who have undergone breast surgery.

* after mastectomy

* after radiation treatment

* if you have Vitaligo

* if you need cosmetic balancing of areola color and size.

* if you need cosmetic enlargement for aesthetic purposes.

* or aesthetic blending breast scars after surgery.

Remember, it is important to chose a permanent cosmetic professional with advanced training in medical tattooing for breast and nipple corrections.  Creating a new areola isn't simply a matter of stamping a dot of color on the breast. We take into consideration areola position and  breast contour "to create the illusion "of a nipple protrusion factoring in the diffusion of color and your own skin tone.

Day of restoration

  Six months after procedure.

Is this procedure safe?
Permanent cosmetic procedures are safe if the technician has had proper education and follows all OSHA and CDC guidelines. Single use, sterile needles and machine parts are used for each client and then properly disposed of at Salon 1500.

Does it Hurt?
Topical anesthesia may be used to alleviate discomfort during the procedure.

Can I have permanent make-up if I am allergic to regular make-up?
The client who is allergic to traditional make-up is usually allergic to the fillers, binders, preservatives and fragrances in make-up.  Ingredients used in permanent makeup are innocuous and non-reactive, making them perfect for permanent cosmetic procedures.

Is permanent make-up 'permanent'?
Your permanent cosmetic make-up procedure depends on the technician, the products used for the application, how deep the cosmetics tattoo was placed into the skin, how well you take care of the procedural area while it is healing, and whether or not you use sun block after the procedure area is completely healed. These factors will determine how long the procedure will last. Color enhancers / touch-ups are suggested 'as needed' to keep the procedure looking 'fresh and new'.

How do I care for my 'NEW' permanent make-up procedure?
After your procedure you will receive a post treatment care instructional sheet. The overall success of your procedure is contingent upon you following the instructions. A follow-up visit will be scheduled 4-6 weeks from your initial application. This is to 'fine tune' and touch-up any area of the skin that may have expelled the pigment.

What will I look like immediately following my procedure?

Your procedure area will be swollen and irritated. This is called the 'wheal and flare' reaction. This area may also be darker for a
few days while it is healing. While the procedure area is healing it must go through three phases before you will experience your final results. The procedure area must first heal, peel and fade. Final results may take 4-8 weeks to completely heal.

Can a person on medication have a permanent make-up procedure?

Clients on medication should obtain a release from their physician prior to any permanent cosmetic procedure. The release should be written on the physician's prescription note
pad and sent to the technician prior to the
start of any procedure.

Do I have to take any precautions prior to lip procedure?

If you have had a cold sore or fever blister, you must take an antiviral pre-procedure. Your physician may prescribe Valtrex, Famvir or Zovirax. Herpetic outbreaks usually occur on the 3rd day post-procedure, and taking antivirals will lessen your outbreak chances. If you experience a herpetic outbreak, you may lose implanted color in the area of the outbreak.
